I am writing you from Budapest from this Central and Eastern European country’s capital. Budapest is the centre of political, economical, commercial and cultural life of Hungary, aand also the place of medical bath, spas. The 8th biggest country of the European Union, the number of inhabitabts are 1 712 210 in 2009. People used to say Budapest is a wonderful town on the two river-side of the Danube.

What’s going on in Hungary recently. What can I tell you about Hungary? It is a very special country, a very special place, with its all benefits and disadvantages. In Hungary we are extremely fortunate in the richness of our musical heritage. And what can be Budapest about a foreigner?

Please tell me, suggest what you would like to know about Hungary, what are you interested in? Why is special Hungary? I try to find it out. What is the situation in Hungary now? Sometimes I feel it was a mistake to stay here. We have a lot of Friends all over the world. I have visited a lot of countries in my life. I have special and unforgettable memories.

I have worked in the music education since 2001, we had hundresd of students, now we have about 50. Thousands of children are missing out from the music education in Hungary. Clarinetist Jozsef Balogh recently has left Hungary, he feel there is no future anymore for him. He played jis last club concert with his Judrom ensemble, and said good bue Hungary.

The situation much worth than it was during the socialism. It is my opinion of course. We have a very kind clarinetist friend, he used to tell me: „Never give up” So, I don’t give up, go on. The democracy and the human rigts are out of order now in Hungary. What can we do? We try to survive. We have survived the voting, now the floods and heavy rainings. That is Hungary, the special country as I used to tell to my friends.

I would like to thank you to our friends through this page for the possibilities and help they gave us during the past years. I believe that music can be magic and can change the life. I believe that working together we can create a better life for all of us.

B.
